MINERAL PROCESSING/METALLURGICAL LAB TECHNICIANS/TECHNOLOGISTS

OUR OFFER Reporting to a Metallurgist this position has operational and project accountabilities for various metallurgical projects and testing procedures.
You will be required to work as a team member in the mineral dressing group, the gold recovery group or the hydrometallurgy group. You will be conducting metallurgical test procedures involving physical and/or chemical metallurgical separations. The processes involved will vary from simple to extremely complex integrated circuits.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of all data generated.
Good English language communication skills are essential, as well as a basic level of MS Excel and Word.
Candidates must have the ability to work shifts which include 24/7 coverage, with 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts.
A high degree of physical mobility is required for this position.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS Candidates should have a university degree or college diploma in mineral processing, materials, chemical engineering, hydrometallurgy, or a directly related field.
Preference will be given to candidates with some laboratory or in-plant experience; however, this is not required.
