SGS Minerals Services is the global market leader in process metallurgical testing to the exploration and mining industries. We have the following openings in our Mineral Processing Groups, based in Lakefield (near Peterborough), Toronto or Vancouver.

Junior Metallurgists in Training

For this entry level position, candidates should have a university degree in mineral processing, materials, chemical engineering, hydrometallurgy, or a directly-related field. Preference will be given to candidates some laboratory or in-plant experience, however, this is not a requirement. An understanding flow-sheet development and production is desirable, with some experience in gold, PGM and base metals preferred.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to coordinate test-work with the potential to take-on progressively more responsible projects in a fast-paced, dynamic, highly professional environment. Candidates must possess and demonstrate excellent written and oral skills as well as project-management abilities.
